One year ago today was the start of my transplant. Still so beyond thankful. To God, for orchestrating it in the way that only He could, because it was truly all Him. For my family, friends, students and their families, for loving on me and rallying around me. For Dr Mesen and his team. For the 400 million stem cells I received from the family who donated the umbilical cord of their precious baby. Lupus sucks, but, man, I have so much to be thankful for.
