Take a Breath with Stem Cells – A true Story

Studies demonstrate the effectiveness of stem cell treatment as a way of repairing the damage caused by chronic lung diseases such as COPD. Stem cells have the ability to offset inflammation in the lungs by combining anti-inflammatory and reparative properties to reduce the inflammatory response and restore lung function.

Note: Despite all advances in stem cells research and the application of these therapies in many countries all over the world, stem cells therapies are not legally approved yet in San Diego, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Jacksonville, Seattle, Houston, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Miami, Beverly Hills and other US cities. However, stem cell treatments are legal in Costa Rica.

The Stem Cells Transplant Institute in Costa Rica offers safe and effective therapies that can change the life of our patients. For people living with chronic lung disease like COPD or Emphysema, finding effective treatment options can be challenging. COPD causes shortness of breath, fatigue and persistent coughing that can affect daily activities and makes it really hard to enjoy life.

Traditional treatments include inhalers, corticosteroids, medications, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy and more. These traditional treatment options work to improve symptoms. However, stem cell therapy works to promote healing from within the lungs, potentially improving quality of life.

The Stem Cell magazine recently published Denise F’s story about having stem cell therapy for COPD. (http://stemcellthemagazine.com/)

A patient named Denise shared her story about using stem cell therapy to treat her COPD. For many years, Denise was deprived of a good life because of her COPD as well as her asthma. Her condition worsened to the point that she could no longer walk independently. Denise needed a walker and an oxygen tank to simply be able to function. She frequently felt depressed that she could no longer do the things she used to. Denise experienced nearly every symptom of COPD including difficulty breathing and moving. She told her doctor that she was going to undergo stem cell therapy for COPD at the Lung Institute and he told her that many people have seen improvements after such a treatment. However, because Denise suffered from such severe COPD, her doctor also warned her that he was concerned the treatment may not work as effectively for her condition.

Denise chose to go through with the procedure, and after having stem cell therapy for her COPD, Denise felt better than before and was able to participate in more activities. She was able to go for long walks, clean her house, fully enjoy time with her family, and even feed her horses and ride again. She no longer had to sit back while her family enjoys activities. She doesn’t even need to use her walker or oxygen anymore. On top of that, she’s been able to reduce her medication under the supervision of her doctor. Denise was even able to go on a vacation with her husband which she wouldn’t have been able to enjoy before her stem cell treatment for COPD.

Denise’s family and friends are overjoyed to see her progress. They say she is much better and so happy compared to how she was before her treatment. While she still needs to take a rest every now and again, she is glad she is able to do more without running out of breath. Denise and her husband are continually seeing improvements in her health each day. Her doctor was amazed to see her happy, feeling better, and full of life. Denise says her quality of life has come back and she’s glad she had the stem cell treatments for her COPD.

There are numerous people that have been treated with stem cell therapy that are feeling better and breathing easier. From mild to severe chronic lung diseases, stem cell therapy may help promote healing from within.
